Five Lakes

There are five lakes in the skirts of the most sacred mountain in Japan, Mt. Fuji.
It erupted 10 times between A.D. 557 and 1707. The big eruption during the Heian Period divided the original two lakes into five: Lake Kawaguchi, Saiko, Shoji, Motosuko, and Yamanaka. Feel the spiritual beauty of nature in the forests and lava caves surrounding this sacred mountain.
